About
We are Dasha & Diede from Studio Vlinderboom.
We are a small press, riso, and illustration studio from Amsterdam. Our studio values are playful design, sustainable printing, well-crafted, tactile objects, and a sprinkle of love and whimsy!
We make illustrations, risoprinted products, zines, host workshops, and organize creative events.
Our story began at art agademy where we were randomly paired up to collaborate on a project. That collab brought us so much joy that we have been working together ever since.
When we graduated, we were joined in our studio by the old Risograph named Rita. She was discarded from the academy's printmaking workshop and was gifted to us with one condition: "If you can carry it out of the building, you can have it!"
And so our journey with the trio began in 2023 :)
Location
You can find us in room 3.6 of Broedplaats Baggerbeest. A breeding ground for creatives built on the new neighbourhood called Sluisbuurt, on Zeeburgereiland.
If you're coming by public trasport from Amsterdam Central Station: take tram 26 towards Ijburg and get out at stop Zeeburgereiland. It's a 2 min walk from there to the red building we are located in :)
